Using The Thomas Cook Website
Using the Thomas Cook site to book travel or other services couldn't be easier. For Holiday you enter your desired destination or theme (such as Beach, Spa, Adventure), the Budget you're willing to spend per person, and the number of nights you would like to stay.
For Foreign Exchange, you can Buy currency on a Card, in Cash or Travellers Cheques, Reload a Forex Card, Send Money, or Sell back your foreign currency.
When booking Hotels, you enter the Destination, Check In and Check Out dates, number of rooms, and how many adults and children will be attending.
For Flights you can choose between One Way, Round Trip or Multi-City options. Then you can enter the Depart and Return Dates, the Destination City or Airport Code, the number of adults and children flying, and the class of service (Economy, Business, First Class etc).

To make a Visa application you must enter a Destination country, the type of Visa you require, number of travellers, tentative travel date, your mobile phone number and an email address. You will then be advised on the visa cost and how to complete the process.

Payment Options
Thomas Cook allows for a number of different payment options - including Advanced Payment (where you pay a charge in advance and then the rest at a later date) or the full payment upfront.
When using the website you can use most common credit and debit cards, including Visa, Visa Debit, American Express, Mastercard, and Maestro. They also accept Net Banking from most major Indian banks.
If you wish to book now and pay later then the Equated Monthly Instalments (EMI) option may be your best choice. This is available on Flights, Hotel and Holiday bookings; with terms of 3, 6 or 9 months available. This option can only be used with domestic credit cards and there will be a one time bank processing fee.
In some instances you can also make your booking or purchase and pay in cash upon arrival.
Tickets, Confirmation and Delivery
If you purchase foreign currency you can have this delivered directly to your door. This is free of charge if the amount you purchase is over the equivalent of $3,000, but there's a Rs. 250 fee for amounts below that threshold. You can also opt to pick the currency up from a Thomascook agent branch or one at the start of your journey, free of charge.
Hotel reservations and other bookings are confirmed via email, and you can print this out as proof of purchase.
Flight tickets can either be delivered to you or printed as eTickets. There are also branches where you can pick them or get them printed from machines.
Cancellations
Almost all bookings can be cancelled, but the specific terms depend on the individual booking and the various policies of the airline, hotel etc. In some cases you should expect a cancellation fee, but this will usually be less the earlier you cancel.
Refunds will be made to he payment method used, and obviously if you used any Thomascook coupons to get a discount this will be excluded.
